E-MAX MPX-1 Data Repeater

The MPX-1 Fiber Optics System is an accurate digital data multiplexer and demultiplexer used for remote reproduction of high speed digital data or contact status. It is the ideal solution for simplification and cost reduction in permanent or temporary installations.

The MPX-1 chassis holds up to 128 points. Each system may be configured from a 16 point repeater to as many as 256 points in 16 point increments. The Transmitter performs a parallel to serial conversion on the data, converts the digital data to light pulses and transmits the serial data stream across a fiber optics cable. The light pulses are converted to digital data at the Receiver, reconstructing the original serial data stream. The Receiver then de-multiplexes the serial data and converts it in time sequence to 16 bit parallel data.
